Peruvian Alpacas are great choice for farmers
In order to improve and increase production of alpacas in the peruvian andes region 1100 peruvian alpacas where delivered to 11 alpacas beneficiary associations in the province of Pasco, as part of a project to Promote and develop peruvian alpacas breeding. The investment is 2.5 million new soles or aproximetly $900,ooo USD
It is important to understand that peruvian people are working on the development of the production of alpacas in the andes region, with the aim of positioning Pasco at the top nationally in the production of camels. The Peruvian administration has allocated more than 7.5 million soles for the three projects of alpacas, which are executed in the provinces of Pasco and Daniel Carrion, benefiting hundreds of producers of this valuable animal.
This release, coupled with the previous allocation of 88 players of high genetic value, was held in Villa de Pasco, where the beneficiaries agreed to complete the construction of fences and sheds to house the camels, promoting the sector’s output alpaquero in the province and the region Pasco.
